Eccentric bronze bushings sit at the heart of cone and gyratory crusher drive systems, converting the rotation of the countershaft into the gyrating motion that crushes rock. Because they operate under sliding contact, their geometry, alloy choice and lubrication path directly affect how smoothly the machine runs and how often it needs attention. A bushing that fits correctly and holds an oil film helps reduce friction, noise and vibration in the crushing chamber.
Design and materials
We cast eccentric bushings to your drawing or reverse-engineer them from a worn sample, matching the original alloy where required. Common choices include C93200 (SAE 660) tin bronze for general crushing service, C93700 for dirty or abrasive conditions, and C95400 aluminium bronze where higher strength and impact resistance are needed. The eccentric bore, oil grooves and locating features are machined in-house so the finished part aligns with the shaft and main frame.

Manufacturing and inspection
Depending on size and quantity, we use centrifugal casting for dense, consistent wall sections, or sand and metal mold casting for larger or more complex shapes. Each batch is checked with spectrometer composition analysis and hardness testing before machining. Finished bushings are measured against the drawing so they arrive ready to install.
