Cone Crusher Socket Liner | Bronze Bowl Bearing

The socket liner is the bowl-shaped sliding bearing that carries the main shaft of a cone or gyratory crusher. Working under sliding friction with a lubricating film, it keeps the shaft aligned, absorbs shock from the crushing chamber and separates the moving surfaces so that friction and wear stay controlled. Because it is a replaceable wear part, the socket liner protects the more expensive shaft and seat from damage.

Design and materials

Socket liners are cast in tin bronze and leaded tin bronze grades such as C93200 (SAE 660) and C93700 for general crushing duty, with aluminium bronze C95400 and manganese bronze C86300 available where higher strength or impact resistance is needed. The bowl profile, spherical radius, oil grooves and lubrication passages are produced to match the original part or your drawing, so the liner seats correctly on the shaft seat and maintains the oil film.

Typical applications

Socket liners are used in the main shaft assembly of cone crushers and gyratory crushers in mining, quarrying and aggregate plants, and in other heavy equipment where a bowl-shaped sliding bearing carries a rotating shaft under load. Manufacturing and inspection

Xinxiang Haishan Machinery casts and machines socket liners in one workshop. Centrifugal casting, sand casting and metal mold casting are all available, and the alloy is melted in our own furnace so the grade can be matched to your specification.
