Custom bronze bushings for rolling mill stands, cast in aluminium bronze or tin bronze and machined to drawing for high load and heat.
Rolling mill stands put bushings under continuous load, heat and water spray, so the bearing has to hold its shape and stay lubricated. We cast and machine rolling mill bronze bushings to your drawing, matching the alloy to the load, speed and cooling conditions of each stand.
Design & materials
Aluminium bronzes such as C95400 and C95800 are usually chosen where heat and cooling water corrosion are the main concerns, while high-lead tin bronzes such as C93700 offer good self-lubricating behaviour under oil lubrication. Tin bronzes including C93200 and C90700 suit moderate load and speed. We also cast ZCuSn10P1 and other custom copper alloys when the original grade is specified. Alloy selection is confirmed against your drawing, sample or original material specification.

Manufacturing & inspection
We use centrifugal casting, sand casting and metal mold casting depending on part size and quantity, followed by in-house CNC machining to drawing.
