Cone Bottom Bushing for Crusher Bronze Parts

Custom cone bottom bushing cast in tin bronze, aluminum bronze or manganese bronze for cone crusher and heavy equipment rebuilds. Made to drawing or worn sample.

The cone bottom bushing sits at the lower end of the eccentric assembly in a cone crusher, where it carries radial load and keeps the main shaft aligned. Because it is a wear item inside a high-load, dust-exposed cavity, fit, concentricity and alloy choice matter as much as the casting itself. We produce cone bottom bushings as custom bronze components, matched to your drawing, your OEM part number or a worn sample sent to our works.

Design and materials

Alloy selection follows the duty of the machine rather than a single default grade. Tin bronze such as C93200 (SAE 660) is widely used for medium-load, medium-speed service; C93700 suits dirtier or poorly lubricated conditions; aluminum bronze C95400 and manganese bronze C86300 are chosen where impact and higher strength are needed. Where access for greasing is limited, a graphite-plugged self-lubricating version can be discussed. Dimensions, wall thickness, flange or shoulder details and oil grooves are all made to your drawing.

  • Cast to drawing, OEM interchange number or reverse-engineered from a worn sample
  • Centrifugal, sand or metal mold casting selected to suit the part geometry
  • In-house CNC machining of bore, OD, faces and grooves
  • Spectrometer composition check and hardness testing on every batch

Typical applications

Cone bottom bushings are used in cone and gyratory crushers in mining and quarrying, and in aggregate crushing plants where the eccentric assembly is rebuilt on a planned shutdown. Similar bronze sleeves are also supplied for other heavy equipment rotating joints.

Manufacturing and inspection

Casting and machining are handled under one roof, so the bore and outside diameter are finished after heat treatment and stress relief rather than being re-clamped between suppliers. Centrifugal casting is used where a denser wall structure is wanted. Every part is checked for composition and hardness before dispatch, and dimensional reports can be issued against your drawing. More detail on our bronze bushing range is on the bushing category page.
