Brass Bearing Shell for Heavy Equipment

Brass bearing shells are a practical choice where a combination of wear resistance, machinability and corrosion resistance is required in sliding contact applications. At Xinxiang Haishan Machinery, brass bearing shells are produced from electrolytic copper combined with controlled alloying elements, then cast and machined in-house to match the drawing or a worn sample supplied by the customer.

Design & materials

Brass offers good casting and cutting performance, which supports the production of bearing shells with consistent wall thickness and accurate fits. Depending on the load, speed and lubrication conditions, we can also supply related copper alloys such as tin bronze or aluminum bronze where the duty calls for higher strength or impact resistance.

Typical applications

Brass bearing shells are used in a range of rotating and oscillating assemblies across mining, aggregates and heavy machinery. They are often selected for moderate-load positions where corrosion resistance in atmospheric or fresh water exposure is also a consideration. For crusher and mill duties, we also produce related bronze wear parts such as socket liners and eccentric bushings.

Manufacturing & inspection

We combine casting and CNC machining under one roof, which helps keep dimensional control and material consistency aligned from melt to finished part.
