Spherical Bronze Bushing for Mining & Heavy Equipment

A spherical bronze bushing carries a curved outer or inner profile that lets the joint self-align, so the bearing surface keeps contact even when the shaft and housing are not perfectly parallel. In mining and heavy equipment this misalignment is normal — frames flex, foundations settle, and loads shift. A spherical seat absorbs that movement instead of concentrating it on one edge of the bore.

Design & materials

The spherical profile is cast or machined to your drawing, then matched to an alloy that suits the load and lubrication condition. Common choices include C93200 (SAE 660) tin bronze for medium-load, general-purpose service, C93700 where dusty or gritty conditions are present, and C95400 aluminum bronze where impact and heavier wear are expected. Manufacturing & inspection

We combine casting and machining in one shop: centrifugal, sand and metal mold casting for the blank, followed by in-house CNC machining to the finished spherical radius and bore tolerance.
