Simmons Cone Crusher Bronze Parts
Custom bronze wear parts for Symons-type cone crushers: bowl liners, frame bushings, main shaft sleeves, thrust plates and drive shaft bushings, cast and machined to your drawing.
Symons-type cone crushers rely on a set of bronze wear components to carry the eccentric motion of the main shaft while protecting the frame and drive train. When these parts wear, clearance opens up, oil pressure drops and the machine starts to run rough. Xinxiang Haishan Machinery casts and machines this bronze set to your drawings or worn samples, matching the original alloy where the grade is known.
Parts in the set
- Bowl liner (bowl-type bearing shell) sitting between the bowl frame and the crushing head
- Frame bushing fitted inside the main frame to protect the bore
- Main shaft sleeve (tapered sleeve) protecting the shaft in spring and Symons-type machines
- Thrust plate supporting the eccentric shaft and helping hold correct gear mesh
- Drive shaft bushing at both ends of the countershaft
Materials and casting
Bronze grade selection depends on load, speed, lubrication and the material being crushed. Common choices include C93200 (SAE 660) tin bronze for general bushing duty, C93700 where dirt and grit are present, and C95400 aluminium bronze or C86300 manganese bronze for higher load and impact. We pour our own heats, so a specified grade can be matched, and centrifugal casting is used where a denser wall is wanted. Manufacturing and inspection
Castings are produced by sand, metal mold or centrifugal casting, then machined in-house to the drawing, including tapers, oil grooves and dowel holes. Each batch is checked by spectrometer for composition and by hardness testing before shipment. Reverse engineering from a worn sample is available when no drawing exists.
