Rotary Crusher Bronze Parts: Bushings, Liners & Plates
Custom bronze wear parts for gyratory and rotary crushers: frame bushings, eccentric bushings, thrust bearings, friction plates and sliding rings, cast and machined to your drawing.
Gyratory and rotary crushers run under constant high load, and the bronze components inside the frame, eccentric and thrust assemblies take the wear that would otherwise reach the shaft and main structure. Xinxiang Haishan Machinery casts and machines these parts to drawing or sample, matching the alloy and dimensions of the original component so it fits the assembly without rework.
Parts we produce
A rotary crusher bronze set typically includes several distinct components, each with its own load and lubrication conditions:
- Upper and lower bronze plates for the main shaft and piston assemblies, usually in a harder aluminium bronze
- Frame bushings (outer bronze sleeves) around the main shaft, commonly in high-lead tin bronze
- Eccentric bushings and drive gear shaft bushings, also in high-lead tin bronze
- Thrust bearings and pressure rings that locate and protect the main assembly
- Bronze sliding rings and other non-standard cast parts
Materials and casting method
Alloy choice follows the duty of the part rather than a single grade for the whole crusher. C93200 (SAE 660) and C93700 high-lead tin bronzes are common for bushings running against steel shafts; C95400 aluminium bronze is often selected for plates and thrust components where hardness and impact resistance matter more. Heavier-duty positions can use C86300 manganese bronze. We melt our own heats and can cast to a specified grade, including ZCuSn10P1 and other custom copper alloys.
Casting route is matched to the geometry: centrifugal casting for round bushings and sleeves, metal mold casting for plates and rings, and sand casting for larger or more complex shapes. Centrifugal castings are denser than sand castings, which suits parts under continuous load. See our centrifugal casting process for details.
Machining, inspection and fit
Castings are machined in-house to the drawing, including bore, outside diameter, flange faces, oil grooves and lubrication holes. Each batch is checked for composition on a spectrometer and for hardness before shipment, and dimensions are verified against the drawing. If you only have a worn part, we can reverse-engineer it and reproduce the geometry.
Typical applications include mining and quarrying crushing circuits, aggregate plants and cement raw material preparation, where a worn bushing can stop the whole line.
