Large-Diameter Bronze Bushing for Heavy Equipment

Large-diameter bronze bushings carry the highest radial loads in mining and heavy equipment, where shaft diameters are big, speeds are moderate and lubrication is often imperfect. A bushing that is cast with consistent density and machined to a true bore keeps the shaft aligned and protects the surrounding housing from wear.

Design and materials

We cast large bushings in tin bronze, leaded tin bronze, aluminum bronze and manganese bronze, matching the grade you specify or the original part. Common choices include C93200 (SAE 660) for general medium-load service, C93700 where dusty or gritty conditions are present, and C95400 or C86300 where impact and high load demand more strength. Wall thickness, flange, oil grooves and lubrication holes are made to your drawing.

Manufacturing and inspection

We combine casting and machining under one roof. Centrifugal casting is used where a denser wall is preferred, while sand casting and metal mold casting suit larger or more complex shapes. Castings can be supplied from 20 mm to 6000 mm diameter and 0.1 to 15000 kg, then finished by in-house CNC machining to your tolerance.
