C97300 Bronze Bushing for Heavy Equipment

Cast and machined C97300 bronze bushings made to your drawing or worn sample, for mining, crushing and heavy equipment sliding joints.

C97300 is a cast nickel-lead-tin bronze that combines good bearing properties with useful corrosion resistance, which is why it is often specified for bushings, sleeves and pump and valve components. For maintenance and reliability teams, the practical question is rarely the alloy name alone — it is whether the bushing fits the shaft, the load and the environment. We cast and machine C97300 bushings to your drawing, or reverse-engineer a replacement from a worn sample when drawings are no longer available.

Design and material selection

C97300 sits in the leaded tin bronze family, so it offers the conformability and embeddability that sliding bearings typically need, along with better corrosion resistance than plain leaded bronzes in many service conditions. It is usually considered for medium-load, medium-speed applications where lubrication is available but not always ideal. Where the duty is different, we can also cast C93200 (SAE 660), C93700, C95400 aluminium bronze or C86300 manganese bronze, and help you compare options against your operating conditions rather than pushing a single grade.

Typical applications

  • Crusher and screen bushings in aggregates and quarrying plants
  • Pump, valve and hydraulic components exposed to mildly corrosive media
  • Sliding joints on construction and bulk material handling equipment
  • Replacement bushings for imported machinery where OEM parts are slow or costly

Manufacturing and inspection

We pour in our own foundry using centrifugal, sand or metal mold casting depending on geometry and quantity, then machine in-house to your tolerances. Each batch goes through spectrometer composition checks and hardness testing in our own laboratory before shipment. If you are unsure which grade suits a given joint, send the drawing or a worn part and we will review it. You can also see our bronze bushing range and our centrifugal casting process for more detail. Send your drawing or a worn sample for a free evaluation.
