A flanged bronze bearing combines a cylindrical bearing sleeve with an integral flange, so the part can be located axially and fastened in place without a separate thrust collar. In mining and heavy equipment, this design is commonly used where a shaft, pin or piston rod needs guided movement plus a positive shoulder to resist axial drift under vibration and shock loading. Xinxiang Haishan Machinery produces flanged bronze bearings as custom castings — matched to your drawing, your worn sample, or an OEM part number.

Design and material selection

The flange diameter, thickness, bolt pattern and bore tolerance are all made to your drawing. Material choice follows the duty: tin bronzes such as C93200 (SAE 660) and C90700 are typical for moderate loads and general sliding duty, while aluminium bronzes like C95400 and C95800 are often selected where impact, abrasive slurry or seawater exposure is present. Manganese bronze C86300 is used for high-strength, slow-speed applications. If you send a worn part, we can identify the alloy and reproduce it.

  • Flange and bore dimensions machined to drawing
  • Alloys matched to load, speed and environment
  • Optional oil grooves, grease holes or graphite plugs
  • Reverse engineering from a worn sample

Typical applications

Flanged bronze bearings are used in crusher and screen assemblies, hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder guides, pump and valve components, and general sliding surfaces on conveyors and construction machinery. See our bronze bushings range and the mining industry page for related parts.

Manufacturing and inspection

We cast with centrifugal, sand or metal mold processes depending on size and quantity, then finish in-house on CNC equipment. Each batch is checked for composition on a spectrometer and tested for hardness in our own laboratory. Centrifugal casting typically gives higher density than sand casting, which suits bearings under continuous load.
