Brass bushings are a practical choice for general-purpose bearing and wear positions where machinability, moderate load capacity and corrosion resistance in air and fresh water matter more than extreme strength. At DASHAN, brass bushings are cast in our own foundry and finished by in-house CNC machining, so the bore, flange and lubrication features match the drawing rather than a catalogue approximation.
Design & materials
Brass is copper-zinc based and is usually selected for moderate loads, good sliding behaviour and easy machining. Where the duty is heavier or more abrasive, we would normally suggest a tin bronze or aluminium bronze instead, and we are glad to advise on grade selection based on your drawing, load and lubrication conditions. Common grades we cast include C93200 (SAE 660), C93700, C95400, C86300, C90700, C51100 and C95800, plus custom copper alloys to your specification.

Typical applications
Brass bushings are used in a wide range of machinery where a reliable, easily machined bearing surface is needed. Typical positions include pivot pins, linkage joints, pump and valve components, conveyor and bulk handling equipment, and general wear points on construction and mining machinery. For abrasive crushing duties, a bronze such as C93700 or an aluminium bronze is often a better match, and we can quote both options.
Manufacturing & inspection
Every order is produced under one roof: pattern making, casting, heat treatment where required, CNC machining and inspection. Composition is checked by spectrometer and hardness is tested in our own laboratory before dispatch.
