Bronze sliding plates carry the sliding load between moving machine parts, where a steel-on-steel contact would tend to gall or seize. Haishan casts and machines these plates to your drawing, matching the alloy and dimensions of the original part so it fits the same mounting points and wear surface. Plates are supplied flat, stepped or profiled, depending on how the component is guided on the machine.
Design and materials
Alloy choice follows the load, speed and lubrication of the application. Tin bronze such as C93200 (SAE 660) is a common starting point for medium-load sliding surfaces, while aluminium bronze C95400 and manganese bronze C86300 are usually selected where impact and higher stress are present. For positions that run with little or no lubrication, graphite-plugged plates can be cast with self-lubricating inserts. Tell us the working conditions and we will recommend a grade.

Typical applications

Manufacturing and inspection
Plates are produced by sand casting, metal mold casting or centrifugal casting, then machined on in-house CNC equipment to the drawing tolerance. Each heat is checked by spectrometer for composition, and hardness is tested before shipment.
