Brass Bushing Sleeve for Industrial Shaft Support

A brass bushing sleeve is a copper-alloy component that sits between a shaft and its housing, reducing friction and providing support and location in rotating or sliding assemblies. Brass and bronze alloys are chosen for their bearing characteristics, thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance, and they are readily machined into complex shapes. At DASHAN, brass bushing sleeves are cast and finished in-house, so the alloy, dimensions and fit can be matched to your drawing or a worn sample.

Design & materials

Brass is one option within a wider family of copper alloys. Depending on load, speed and lubrication, we may recommend tin bronze, lead bronze or aluminium bronze instead, and we cast each heat ourselves so the grade can follow your specification. Common choices include C93200 (SAE 660) for medium-load service, C93700 where dirt or grit is present, and C95400 or C86300 where higher strength or impact resistance is needed. Wall thickness, flange details, oil grooves and clearance are set from the drawing or measured from the original part.

Manufacturing & inspection

We combine casting and machining under one roof, using centrifugal, sand or metal mold casting as the geometry and quantity suit. Centrifugal casting is typically used where a denser, more uniform wall is preferred. Finished parts are checked in our own laboratory with spectrometer composition analysis and hardness testing before dispatch.
