Impact-Resistant Bushings for Cone Crushers: Selection Guide

Published 2026-08-08

The hardest-working parts in the plant

Cone crusher bronze parts — socket liners, eccentric bushings, step bearings and bowl liners — operate under high impact and extreme loads. Industry data ties roughly 22% of heavy mining equipment failures to abnormal wear of transmission bushings.

Selection checklist

  1. Alloy — high-impact positions call for high-strength alloys like C95400 or C86300; lighter-duty wear positions run C93200/C93700.
  2. Fit — the eccentric bushing bore and socket seat must match OEM dimensions; a wrong fit converts impact into premature fracture.
  3. Grooves — oil grooves must be machined to the OEM pattern for adequate lubrication of the rotating contact.
  4. Source — use a supplier who casts and machines in one plant and dimension-checks against your worn part.
