SAE 660 (C93200) is the classic high-lead tin bronze for bearing applications. Its structure carries heavy loads while the lead provides built-in dry-running protection during start-up and stops.
Why cranes use SAE 660
Sheave and pin bushings on overhead cranes run at low speed under very high load. SAE 660's combination of strength, embeddability and conformability handles those conditions with a long service life.
