Sand Casting
For complex geometries, large parts and low volumes: sand casting lets us produce intricate cast bronze parts without the cost of dedicated tooling.
Sand casting forms the mold from compacted sand around a pattern, giving complete freedom of external geometry — angles, ribs, bosses, lettering and asymmetric shapes that centrifugal casting cannot produce.
We use sand casting for complex custom parts, large castings, and short runs where tooling cost would otherwise dominate. It is also the natural process for one-off replacement castings made to a sample or drawing.
Patterns can be made from wood or resin; we hold patterns on site for repeat orders, and can work from your existing pattern if you supply one.
